How to use Golf Divot Tools

Golf divot tools are an important part of your golf bag. They allow you to repair damaged areas of your green by filling holes that you created as you walked across the grass.

Before you use your golf divot tool, you should first remove the flag stick from the hole. This is usually just pushing the stick up out of the hole.

Once your flag stick has been removed, you’ll want to use your golf divot tool to scoop up the grass that was in the affected area.

After scooping up the grass, you’ll want to remove the grass from the divot. To do this, lift the tool straight up and away from the ball.

Next, push the remaining dirt back into place. Use the metal ball end of the tool to push dirt into the hole you created.
